Klaas-Carel Faber died May 24 2012

Just very recently the news was announced by his wife that the most wanted Dutch nazi-criminal, Klaas-Carel Faber, died last thursday, May 24 2012. He died in a hospital in the German town of Ingolstadt, where he had lived for years now, at the age of 90. He leaves a wife and 2 sons.

In 1947 he was sentenced to death for the killing of 22 people. This sentence was later changed to life-imprisonment. In 1952 he managed to escape from a Dutch prison together with a few other nazi-criminals. Since then he had lived in Germany. The Germans always refused to extradite him to the Dutch, to complete his sentence in a Dutch prison.
